After the creation of the Tour de France by Lefèvre and Desgrange in 1902, the mountain courses were gradually introduced to the discipline. Climbed for the first time in 1910,, Aubisque and Soulor have once been an integral part of the race's history. These mythical hills will be found on any seasoned cyclist's achievment list ! The beautiful ascent, which joins the regions of Bigorre and Bearn, will take you into the world of the high mountains. You will find yourself on the impressive "thermal route" from Eaux-Bonnes to Luchon, the construction of which was determined in 1860. Built on ledge cut through the rock of the Cirque of Litor, this route offers you a panoramic viewpoint.
