This route will remind Tour de France fans of the franco-spanish 11th stage of 2006 Tour, from Tarbes to Pla de Beret in Val d'Aran. An ideal choice to begin the season before taking on the "Giants", this route offers an original way to discover the Pays de Lourdes. After a gentle start in the Valley of argeles, the gradient steepen as you approach the COl de Lingous. If you find the going easy, you can follow it with the ascent up to the Croix Blanche, where a panorama of the Pyrenean foothills and the Tarbes plain await you. Whaterver your choice, the return takes you across the Lezignan plain, an area marked by extensive argricultural activity.
